Required before you register

USA Wrestling Membership

Every wrestler must have a current USA Wrestling (USAW) membership before completing club registration. It is quick to set up and provides secondary accident insurance for chartered practices and sanctioned events.

How to get an Athlete Membership

  1. Create a profile for your wrestler. At USAWmembership.com, open Manage → Profiles in the top-right navigation and click Create New Profile.
  2. Add the Athlete Membership to your cart. Open Manage → Memberships, click Purchase / Renew Membership, select your profile, then choose the Athlete Membership.
  3. Pay. Check out under the Cart icon in the top-right navigation.

$20 Limited

Local and state folkstyle events. The minimum you need for the folkstyle season.

$65 Full

Year-round, all styles (folkstyle, freestyle, Greco). Needed for freestyle and national events.

On the mat

Gear Checklist

  • Wrestling shoes are required. Headgear is optional but strongly recommended.
  • Folkstyle: the club supplies singlets, so you are set for the season.
  • Freestyle: bring the red and blue statement singlet, either a reversible red/blue pair or one red and one blue.
  • Register for tournaments yourself at trackwrestling.com. Pre-registration is usually cheaper, and many events are cash only at the door.
  • Water bottle and a good attitude for every practice.
  • Outgrown gear? Use the Gear Bucket at practice to pass it on to another family.
