This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by Shelton Wrestling Club (the "Club," "we," "us") through this website, our registration and contact forms, and our communications with families. It works together with our Terms of Service. This website is designed and hosted by Ross Dynamics LLC on the Club's behalf; the developer does not use your information for its own purposes.

Where this information goes: your registration and contact form submissions are sent to the Club by email and are not stored in this website's database. The website keeps only a small payment-tracking record so the Club can see who has paid: a reference code, the participant's first name and last initial, the program, the amount, and whether it has been paid. That record does not include dates of birth, weight, contact details, emergency contacts, or membership numbers. All of those details live only in the email the Club receives.

The Club's programs are for minors, and information about a child is provided by that child's parent or legal guardian, not by the child. By registering, you confirm that you are the participant's parent or legal guardian and that you consent to the Club's collection and use of the participant's information as described here. We do not knowingly allow children to submit their own information through this site. If you believe a child has provided information without a parent's involvement, contact us and we will remove it. We ask families not to share more about a child than the registration requires.
The registration form asks whether you permit the Club to use photos and video of the participant. If you choose yes, the Club may use such images to promote the Club on its website, social media, and printed materials. If you choose no, the Club will make reasonable efforts to avoid publishing identifiable images of the participant. You may change your choice at any time by contacting us, and we will apply it going forward. Please note the Club cannot control images that other families, spectators, or event organizers capture at public events.
Payments for registration, donations, sponsorships, and shop items are processed by PayPal, an independent third party with its own privacy policy and terms. When you pay, your payment details are entered on PayPal, not on this site. Funds go directly to the Club's account. The Club and the Website Provider never receive, hold, or have access to your card or bank details.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for anyone's advertising. We share it only as needed to run the Club:
We deliberately keep as little as possible on this website. The details you submit when registering (participant name, age, weight, emergency contact, membership number, waiver acceptance) are emailed to the Club and are not stored in the website's database. The website itself retains only the small payment-tracking record described in section 2 (a reference code, first name and last initial, program, amount, and paid status), which the Club removes when it is no longer needed to track payment.
Because the full registration and waiver details arrive by email, the Club's own email records are the record of truth, and how long they are kept is governed by the Club's email retention. Waiver and consent records may be kept longer because they document agreements that were in effect at the time of participation and may be needed for insurance or legal reasons. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to keep (see below).
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, including limiting access to authorized Club leadership and using a website served securely over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or behavioral tracking. The sponsor logos shown on the site are static images and do not set cookies or track visitors. Our web host may use a small number of strictly necessary items to keep the site secure and functioning. If the Club ever adds analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first and, where required, we will ask for your consent.
Our site links to outside services such as Facebook, the BAND app, USA Wrestling, and Trackwrestling. Those services are run by others and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to review their policies before using them.
By registering or contacting us, you agree that the Club may contact you about practices, schedules, events, payments, and other program matters using the phone number or email you provide. Transactional messages such as a registration confirmation are part of the service you requested.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the date above. Your continued use of the site or the Club's programs after a change means you accept the updated policy.
